Right around the time when Miami’s Design District began experiencing it’s cultural revival, I became inspired by the eclectic energy and tried my own hand with this abstract series.

Here are a few original pieces produced and exhibited during that period.

Musical Roots

During the 1960s in Cuba, my grandmother Berta Corzo wrote and composed a series of songs that she was unable to produce given the oppressive political climate. However, my mother kept the lyrics and melodies alive by playing them at family gatherings. In 2019, with my mother Lourdes performing as the vocalist (at age 70), we preserved the classics songs you can hear in album below.
